Put life on the calendar first
Start with your goals and the time you can realistically protect. Add work, travel and family commitments alongside your events, so the plan reflects the season you can actually live.
Give events a purpose
Discuss which events matter most and what you want to learn from the others. A race can provide practice, feedback or a specific performance opportunity. Write down that purpose before the result shapes the story.
Review and adjust
An Annual Training Plan connects priorities to weekly targets. Return to it when your circumstances change and use it to support a conversation, rather than treating every original entry as fixed.
